This scoping work is to carry out a qualitative research study that will inform the development of a follow-on, full proposal to NIHR SSCR or NIHR Research for Social Care, in order to evaluate the feasibility of a Meals on Wheels intervention in improving physical, mental and social wellbeing in clients of the service. The currently proposed study builds on a funded and recently completed small study that explored the significance of the Meals on Wheels service in the light of service providers’ perspectives.
