NIHR SSCR Annual Conference 2022

The NIHR School for Social Care Research’s Annual Conferences bring together researchers, policy-makers, managers, commissioners, providers, people who use services, carers and practitioners, among others to discuss adult social care research and practice.

Our 2022 Conference will take place on Tuesday 26 April 2022 at the London School of Economics and Political Science.

The conference provides an opportunity to hear about new studies and emerging evidence from across NIHR SSCR’s commissioned studies and their implications for adult social care practice. The Conference will feature contributions from experts and practice colleagues in the adult social care field.

The conference will feature a message from Professor Lucy Chappell, Chief Executive of the National Institute for Health and Care Research.

Speakers include:

  • Liz Jones, Policy Director, National Care Forum
  • Professor Sue Ziebland, Professor of Medical Sociology, University of Oxford
  • Parallel session speakers from across NIHR SSCR-funded awards
