Thank you to everyone who joined the NIHR School for Social Care Research’s Capacity-building Award Holders Development and Networking Event on 6 October 2022. We hope you found the event useful.
As mentioned on the day, there is interest in developing groups/network around research themes discussed at the meeting. Please do complete the survey below if you are interested in continuing these discussions.
The School can make a small amount of funding available to support networks/groups. We expect this will be to cover possible in-person meetings, but could be used for other reasonable expenses. We would also be keen to open up the networks/groups to other award holders (such as research project teams) within SSCR. This would require an SSCR member to take on ‘lead’ responsibility for the group/network, for example, to support organisation of meetings of the group/network. Please do let us know through the survey below if you are interested in leading such a network/group.
We would also welcome any feedback on yesterday’s meeting and any suggestions for future such events.
